Can Messi and Muller Catch Rodriguez In World Cup Golden Boot Odds?

It’s been a great World Cup so far for entertainment and any of the remaining 4 teams could be lifting the trophy with next to nothing separating them in the outright betting. The World Cup 2014 Golden Boot Odds picture is a bit clearer but there is still plenty to play for.

James Rodriguez sits top of the scoring charts with 6 goals but since Colombia were knocked out by Brazil that’s as many as the 4/6 shot can get. That means there is a target firmly on his back and most likely to progress past Rodriguez are Thomas Muller and Lionel Messi. Both players have 4 goals so far and slightly disappointingly for backers of either player, neither has scored in the knockout rounds so far.
