InterBetting tips soccerAC Milan

Inter last 5 league matches:  draw win win win draw

Inter last 3 home matches:  win winwin

Milan last 5 league matches:  win lost win win win

Milan last 3 away matches: win win win

Table positions: Inter -1, Milan -2

Inter home table position: 1

Milan away table position: 2

The Derby Della Madonnina as it is
known, the clash of Internazionale Milan and AC Milan these long time
local rivals and certainly this match will grab all attention from
Football fans on Sunday.

With both teams showing a good form and
battling out for the Scudetto this match will most probably be very
different from their encounter in the start of the season when Inter
managed a superb victory away to AC Milan trashing their adversaries
4-0.

With a total of 46 points in 20 games
played in the Serie A, Inter sits 6 points above AC Milan at the top of
the table but the opposition has one match in hand and with it to close
the gap to only 3 points.

Coach Jose Murino has some reason to be
cheer about as Midfielder
Wesley
Sneijder has recovered from a flu and will most likely start in the
first 11. Inter has not lost any of the 10 matches played at home this
season from witch they managed 8 victories with a solid goal ratio of 22
scored and 11 conceded.

AC Milan is determined to wash off the
painful defeat suffered in the start of the season and with it’s current
form there are reasons to believe they can manage that. With some
problem in defense, coach Leonardo will start with Tiago Silva and
Giuseppe Favalli as center backs.

A very decent statistic for them as well
in away matches with no less than 5 victories and 3 draws in 9 played,
losing only against Udinese in the early phase of the season.

My pick: Draw

Juventus – AS Roma 23 Jan 10

JuventusBetting tips soccerAS Roma

Juventus last 5 league matches:  lost lost win lost lost

Juventus last 3 home matches:  win lostlost

Roma last 5 league matches:  draw win draw win win

Roma last 3 away matches: win draw draw

Table positions: Juventus -5, Roma -3

Juventus home table position: 13

Roma away table position: 8

Juventus facing a disastrous period in the Italian Serie A with only
one victory and 4 losses in the last 5 played and virtually no chances
left for the championship race. They now have to play against AS Roma
with their future participation in a European tournament on the table.

With their humiliating blow against AC Milan on home ground 0-3
followed by their loss away to Chievo left the “old lady” on the fifth
spot of the table with a total of 33 points, no less than 13 gap from
leaders Inter.

On home pitch they have won 5 out of the 10 matches played with 2
draws and 3 defeats, making one of the poorest records compared to the
other teams and left them with only 17 points from a total of 30
possible and a poor goal ratio of 16 scored and 12 conceded showing less
than one goal scored per game.

AS Roma is in a very good form with 3 victories and 2 draws in the
last 5 played in the Serie A and climbing up considerably to the third
spot of the table 5 points from second AC Milan and only one advantage
from forth Napoli.

It’s hard to consider they will be keeping their spot in case of any
other result but a victory. Their record in away matches is very week
and dominated by draws, no less than 5 in all 10 played and only 2
victories all season long.

My pick: Draw (under 2.5 goals)

Bologna – Atalanta 20 Jan 10

BolognaBetting tips soccerAtalanta

Bologna last 5 league matches:  win lost lost lost win

Bologna last 3 home matches:  lost winlost

Atalanta last 5 league matches:  lost draw lost lost win

Atalanta last 3 away matches: win lost lost

Table positions: Bologna -17, Atalanta -18

Bologna home table position: 16

Atalanta away table position: 13

Two matches taking place this Wednesday in the Italian Serie A, one
of witch this very interesting duel counting for the relegation zone
between Bologna and Atalanta.

With 19 matches played so far by both teams, Bologna is joust above
Atalanta and the relegation zone in the table with only a 3 point
advantage largely due to their very good play in last week’s game away
to Fiorentina where they managed a 1-2 victory.

This was their first victory of the year as in the previous 2 matches
they where defeated by Catania and Cagliari with the same scoreline of
1-0. Their home statistic is pretty good actually for a team in their
position with 4 victories and 1 draw in 9 played but only one victory in
the last 3.

With their thrashing of Lazio in the last leg of the competition, 3-0
the final score, Atalanta managed their first victory in the past 6
games played and with it came a little hope of advancing in the table.

In 9 played whilst traveling the team managed only 2 victories and
one draw losing no less than 6 and the goal ratio of 7 scored and 14
conceded goes to confirm their poor results.

My pick: Bologna to win

Bari – Inter 16 Jan 10

BariBetting tips soccerInter

Bari last 5 league matches:  win lost win win lost

Bari last 3 home matches:  win winwin

Inter last 5 league matches:  lost draw win win win

Inter last 3 away matches: lostdraw win

Table positions: Bari -10, Inter -1

Bari home table position: 5

Inter away table position: 1

After the incredible match last week against Siena, Inter is in front
of a very difficult trip in the Serie A to Bari and certainly looking
forward to avenge the 1-1 draw in the first match of the season.

After leading Fiorentina away last week, Bari conceded 2 goals and
lost the second match in the competition this year. The team looked
strong but failed to live up to the challenge especially in the second
half.

They still look very strong on home ground with victories in all last
5 matches played there and a statistic of 6 victories and 2 draws in 9
played. With 27 points in total, they sit joust 3 behind a spot in next
season’s Europa League, it remains to be seen if the team can keep the
good form for the remaining of the competition.

Inter is now on 3 match winning streak in the Serie A their last
victim being Siena. The champions came from a 1-2 deficit to win in
extra time and grab all 3 points.

With a total of 45 points they are well clear of next in line AC
Milan with an 8 point advantage. In away matches they totaled 6
victories and one draw in 9 played and a very good goal statistic of 16
scored and 6 conceded.

My pick: Draw

Bookies Don’t Know What To Make Of Most Competitive Premiership Yet

January 15th, 2010 Comments off

Many are stating that this season’s Premiership is the best
Premiership season ever and they might just be right. Every part of the
Premiership is as competitive as it has ever been and at this stage even
the bookies aren’t sure what is going to happen.

We are used to having one or two teams in the title race, whilst many
would argue that this is the case once again it is hard to say that
Arsenal are out of the hunt for the title, they are only three points
off the top spot. You could even argue that Man City could win it, they
have only seven points to make up and bigger leads have been surrendered
than that. The bookies make Chelsea the favourites to win the league,
and rightly so, but Arsenal look the value at 9/2 considering Man Utd
are 11/4 and Chelsea are odds on at 4/5.

There is without doubt the best battle for fourth this year, Man
City, Spurs, Aston Villa and Liverpool are all definitely competing for
that last Champions League place and you could even argue Birmingham
are, although we doubt they have the staying power. Man City’s chances
of breaking into the top four are rated 50:50 by the bookies and they
are favourites, if you believe the bookies then Liverpool will come
fifth with Tottenham and Aston Villa in behind respectively.

And how about relegation? Portsmouth may be four points adrift at the
bottom but there are only three points separating 19th to 13th place
inclusive. Even Stoke in 10th are just six points off the drop zone and
far from safe. The bookies think Portsmouth, Hull and Burnley are most
likely to go, in that order, which means they clearly don’t rate Brian
Laws as a manager.

The beauty of this season’s Premiership is that no one is going to
draw clear in their respective battles because everyone is beating
everyone. It will probably take the smallest amount of points ever to
take the title with Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal dropping points
regularly.
