Ligue 1 leaders PSG take to the field on Sunday in a match that makes them clear favorites for all three points against a struggling Nancy.

Although having a modest start to the season, the huge investments made this summer by PSG seem to pay off as the team is in the driver’s seat of the Ligue 1 with a total of 30 points in 13 played, followed closely by Montpellier three points behind.

No less than nine straight victories for PSG in home games with matches both in the Ligue 1 and Europa League, a real performance that they look to maintain and improve.

Nancy on a relegation spot for now as they managed only 11 points in all 13 matches played in the competition. They still have room for improvements as teams in the lower half are very close but a change in play is necessary.

Failing to win any of the 6 games played away in the competition it’s hard to see them managing a positive results against the leaders themselves.

A single match to be played on Saturday in the French Ligue 1 as raining champions OSC Lille welcome newly promoted Evian TG.

Lille is currently third in the league table with a total 23 points before round 13 of the season goes under way. Three points separate them from second Marseille whilst leaders PSG have distanced themselves to 6 points.

Round 10 in the French Ligue 1 on Saturday with title chasers Olympique Lyon welcoming last spot holders Nancy in a fixture in which the hosts are clear favorites.

Lyon on the third spot of the Ligue 1 table with a total of 17 points in 9 games played, same as Montpellier and Toulouse but two below current leaders PSG.

They suffered an important defeat in the last round, losing 2-0 away to PSG and allowing their rivals to take the driver’s seat with a strong chance for the trophy after the summer’s investments.

Nancy has failed to win any games in the competition this season, only 5 draws in 9 played for them and negative a goal balance of -4, claiming the last spot of the table, two points below salvation.

With 3 defeats and one draw in away matches this season, it’s hard to see them claiming a positive result against Lyon especially as their morale is very low.

Marseille only on the 13th spot of the table so far as they totaled just 7 points in 8 games played, already reaching a considerable 10 point gap from leaders Lyon and a -2 goal balance.

They are showing an alternating form throughout, mixing surprising results and loss of points with clear victory as the case this week when they defeated Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund 3-0 in the Champions League.

Brest is in the danger zone as they sit on the 18th spot but with a total of 6 points so far they are just one below their current adversaries making for a very animated development in the bottom half of the chart.

No victories for them this season no matter the competition, managing to gather all 6 points in draws, especially on home ground.
