Only two more rounds remaining in the Seria A season and all is still to be decided especially in the upper part of the table, last match of the day on Saturday now in focus as AS Roma welcomes Catania.

Roma has fallen dramatically in rankings these past few week, and after just two victories in their last 8 matches played, they are now on the 7th spot of the Serie A table with a total of 52 points and a goal balance of +5.

They still hold some chances of claiming a spot in the next season of Europa League but tows chances are slim  as, on the 6th spot, Inter has a three point advantage.

Catania on the other hand, has no such hopes and with a total of 47 points in all 36 played, they are now on a comfortable 10th spot of the table with no relegation threats or European tournament aspirations.

The form that Catania has showed recently, closely resembles that of Roma, this time just one victory in their last 8 played and a steady drop in rankings.

My pick: AS Roma to win ( Under 2.5 goals )

Serie A table positions: Napoli -3, Palermo -14

Another round kicks off on Tuesday in the Italian Serie A no. 36 out of a total of 38 and Napoli is close to another Champions League participation facing Palermo in this match.

Napoli is on the third spot of the Serie A with a total of 55 points and although this spot grants access to the UCL play-off no less than three other teams have the same total of points.

A great advantage for Napoli over it’s advantage seems to be it’s easier schedule and the fact that they are experiencing a rise in form despite ending in a two all draw their last game played against AS Roma last week.

Palermo is in a different situation all together, they sit on the 14th spot of the table with a total of 42 points and although they are low in the chart they are virtually out of the relegation battle looking forward to a more rewarding next season in the Serie A.

No victories for them in their last five matches played in the competition with two defeats and three draws, keeping a negative -6 goal balance in overall.

My pick: Napoli to win ( Under 2.5 goals )

Primera Division table positions: Juventus - 1, Roma - 5

With just 6 more rounds to go in the Italian Serie A season, leaders Juventus are up against a difficult opponent on Sunday as they welcome AS Roma.

Juventus is currently on the top spot of the Serie A with a total of 68 points,  managing to maintain it’s fragile one point advantage over AC Milan and already assuring it’s presence in the Champions League group stage for next season.

A truly surprising season for Juventus and a great opportunity to claim the trophy after troubled years that saw them even relegated to the second division.

AS Roma continues it’s own battle in the competition. The team is currently on the 5th spot of the table with a total of 50 points, four points bellow third Lazio but with it’s position threatened by Napoli and Inter.

A very precarious situation in the upper part of the table that can reveal major changes until the season end in the 3 to 7 spots, As Roma being in this action, making every fixture a possibly crucial one.

My pick: Juventus to win ( Under 2.5 goals )

Serie A table positions: Juventus - 2, Napoli - 4

Very exciting fixture at the top of Italy’s Serie A with title chasers Juventus welcoming Napoli on Sunday.

Juventus is on the second spot of the Serie A table with a total of 59 points. They trail leaders AC Milan by four points but with a matche less played than their opponents they could close the gap to just one point.

With two victories in their last three matches, Juventus seems to have restored it’s confidence after a series of four consecutive draws that made them lose a lot of ground.

Napoli on the other hand, is currently on the 4th spot of the table with a total of 48 points and with just a three point deficit from third Lazio, they are still hoping for a spot in the Champions League next season.

Their main opponent seems to be Udinese which stands behind them only due to an inferior goal balance making every match highly important for Napoli.

My pick: Juventus to win ( Under 2.5 goals )

What's your pick?

  • Draw (33%, 3 Votes)
  • Napoli (11%, 1 Votes)

AS RomaBetting tips soccerGenoa

Roma last 3 home matches: winwinLos

Genoa last 5 matches: LosLosdrawdrawdraw

Genoa last 3 away matches: LosLosdraw

Serie A table positions: Roma - 6, Genoa - 14

*matches in all competitions

The only match from the Italian Serie A on Monday counting for round 28 as AS Roma welcome Genoa with both teams experiencing though times.

AS Roma is currently on the 6th spot of the Serie A table with a total of 41 points in all 27 matches played and having the certainty that no matter the outcome against Genoa they will keep their position.

Only two victories for Roma in their last six matches played, alternating narrow victories with painful defeats but a strong presence as far as home matches are concerned.

Genoa is currently on the 14th spot of the table and although their total of 33 points so far give them a comfortable 7 points advantage over the relegation zone, their form is very poor.

No victories for Genoa in their last six matches played in the Serie A with their last three finishing in draws and if the trend continues they will inevitably fall in the standings.

My pick: AS Roma to win ( Under 2.5 goals )

What's your pick?

  • AS Roma (62%, 13 Votes)
  • Draw (24%, 5 Votes)
  • Genoa (14%, 3 Votes)
