Most Interesting match in the Champions League 2010-2011 season preliminaries on Tuesday as Hapoel el Aviv welcomes a difficult Aktobe team.
Hapoel Tel Aviv is starting off with a one goal deficit after they lost away in Kazakhstan last week, a surprising result if we take into account their offensive force in the previous stage of the qualifiers.
Morale may be low as they lost again in the weekend in the Israel Toto cup but with home fans at their side they start off as favorites.
Aktobe emerged as winners of the Kazakhstan domestic league in 2009, and now as the competition is in it’s late stages they are third assuring a participation in the championship play-off.
Although they don’t come from a country with a great tradition in football, latest investments and player signings show that their ambitions are high with European tournaments as main focus.
My tip: Hapoel Tel Aviv to win (under 2.5 goals )
