A very though match to call in the first round of the German Bundesliga as Hoffenheim welcomes Werder Bremen for what is expected to be a close contest.
Hoffenheim has a very disappointing season, finishing in the bottom half of the table grabbing the 11th spot. The team was very far from expectation with modest performances both at home and away.
They started the new season in the same manner as most of the Bundesliga teams did, with a conclusive victory in the DFB Pokal but the hard part is just beginning.
Morale in Werder Bremen’s team is running high after this week performance in the Champions League preliminaries where they defeated Sampdoria, 3-1 the final score and took the front seat for a qualification the the world’s most prestigious club competition.
Although the lost a key player as Mehut Ozil left to join Real Madrid, Werder looked as strong as ever and showed off their great offensive appetite.
