Two rounds of the Duthc Eredivisie have past but the table is yet to reveal any trends with and the current leaders PSV Eindhoven welcoming AZ Alkmaar for a very difficult match on Sunday.
PSV got of to a flying start wining in both of their new season league matches, first round 1-3 away to Heerenveen and a superb show for the audience as they trashed De Graafschap at home 6-0 last week.
The first disappointment came this Thursday as they where defeated in the last qualifying round of the Europa League by outsiders Sibir Novosibirsk 1-0 making the return leg more interesting than first thought.
AZ Alkmaar started this new season of the Eredivisie in the same manner as they finished the last one, with 2 draws in the first 2 legs against NAC Breda and Groningen showing real problems especially on the offensive.
With PSV as big favorites for this match, AZ will most likely play a counter attacking game focusing on defense above all else.
