With only four round to go in the Spanish Primera Division, Barcelona has virtually no chance to overtake Real Madrid yet they hace a very interesting trip to Rayo Vallecano after Pep Guardiola announced he’s resignation.

Rayo Vallecano can breath easily as they are just three points away from remaining in Spain’s top league. They are currently on a comfortable 15th spot with a total of 40 points.

They have space to advance depending on other results but their biggest drawback is the terrible goal ration showed at the moment -10 and a rather hard remaining schedule.

Barcelona is close to the end of a disappointing season, they are on the second spot of the table with no less than 7 points handicap from Real Madrid and their painful exit from the Champions League this week at the hand of an unworthy Chelsea.

it will be interesting to see how the team copes with the departure from Guardiola and if their spectacular playing style will change.

My pick: Barcelona to win ( Over 2.5 goals )

After an embarrassing night for football on Tuesday that saw the qualification of Chelsea into the Champions League final, Wednesday will hopefully bring us a real match and at least one team worthy of the final as Real Madrid welcomes Bayern Munchen.

Real Madrid will head into this decisive second leg with one goal handicap as the scoreline last week showed 2-1 for Bayern after a very exciting game decided in extra time by a goal from Gomez.

Real certainly has the upper hand in this one as they will play on Santiago Bernabeu in front of their fantastic crowd and with their weekend victory against Barcelona, morale is sky high, everyone at the club hopping for the Champions League trophy along with Primera Division title.

Bayern Munchen playing for glory in the Champions League after losing the battle for the Bundesliga and facing a very though DFB Pokal final against leaders Borussia Dortmund.

They are one of the most constant teams in this competition for the past few years and although not granted the best of odds through out the season, they manage to reach high stages in the competition.

My pick: Real Madrid to win ( Over 2.5 goals )

The match that will certainly draw most of the attention this weekend as FC Barcelona host rivals Real Madrid in El Clásico on Saturday.

Barcelona, as it’s rivals, heading into this game after a painful defeat in the Champions League this week when they lost away to Chelsea, ending a 15 game streak without losses.

With a total of 81 points, Barcelona is four points bellow it’s rival in the Primera Division table and with only five matches to go this season a victory here is a must for them if they are to hold claim to the trophy.

They managed to dominate Real Madrid in their latest matches played between the teams both in tactic and results and Barcelona it highly regarded as the favorite for this one as well in terms of bookies odds.

Real Madrid has a four point advantage over Barcelona in the chart, an advantage that can be diminished to just one point in case of a loss, but also can mean the title in case of a victory.

They as well lost their Champions League match against Bayern but with a scoreline of 2-1, the away goal gives them a better chance of qualifying.

The fact that they are playing this decisive match on Camp Nou will certainly be a great disadvantage for them especially in light or recent results between the teams.

My pick: Barcelona to win ( Under 2.5 goals )

Primera Division table positions: Barcelona - 2, Athletic Club - 11

Round 30 in the spectacular Spanish Primera Division with Barcelona up against a though adversary as they host Athletic Bilbao on Saturday.

Barcelona is still trailing rivals Real Madrid in the table and with a gap of 6 points it will be very hard for them reclaim the top spot and lift another league trophy at the end of the season.

Showing of a good form in latest matches, Barcelona managed a goalless draw away to AC Milan this week in the Champions League making them favorites for the qualification in the semi-finals.

Athletic Bilbao impressing everyone with their Europa League run, they are just inches away from the semi-finals of the competition after defeating Schalke 2-4 this week.

A great morale for them following this victory but the disadvantage is certainly the fatigue levels as they are not a team used to playing in more competitions at once.

My pick: Barcelona to win ( Over 2.5 goals )

The two giants of international football, AC Milan and Barcelona will battle it out for the second time this season after the Champions League group clash.

AC Milan up against the Champions League trophy holders Barcelona, this time in the quarter-finals of the competition as the Milanese Devil is looking for the ultimate club trophy and the Serie A this season.

They managed a spectacular two all draw in the first Autumn game on Camp Nou but lost the second one 2-3 the final score, allowing Barcelona to win the group whilst Ac Milan placed second.

A good for for them in latest matches with three victories in their last four matches and with a distance of four points from Juventus, in the Serie A table, Milan’s morale is very good.

Barcelona regarded as favorites in qualifying to the final where their bitter rivals Real Madrid are expected to join them. A very good run form them in the Champions League so far, notably their 7-1 trashing of Bayer Leverkusen in the last match.

No less than nine straight victories for Barcelona in all competitions and all numbers seem to be in their favor but most likely this first match will prove crucial for the overall qualification economy.

My pick: Draw ( Under 2.5 goals )
