One of the most evenly matches groups in the Europa League turns out to be Group J with Borussia Dortmund, PSG and Sevilla battling out for the top 2 spots.

Borussia Dortmund is currently on the second spot of the group with a total of 3 points, same as Sevilla, both trailing leaders PSG by 3 points.

Borussia Dortmund has turned up to be one of the leading forces in the new season of the Bundesliga with a very good form and results to prove it, they will certainly have the same ambitions in Europa League and will leave the 0-1 defeat against Sevilla behind if they are to qualify to the knock out phase.

One might say that PSG are the surprising leaders of this group with 6 points in 2 matches played, 0-1 away to Sevilla and 2-0 at home with outsiders Karpaty.

Very long time has passed since they where in the fight for the Ligue 1 trophy as they are in this season and a great jump from the last few years where they where struggling to avoid relegation.

League matches are back in this weekend with the German Bundesliga presenting it’s only match on Friday as Koln welcomes Borussia Dortmund.

Even with only 7 round played, Koln is on treacherous 16th spot in the table with only a total of 5 points facing a though season ahead.

Not much of a chance to ease the pressure here as they face a likely candidate for the trophy but on home ground they seem to close down all paths to their goal as they managed with Bayern and Hoffenheim hoping for one point.

Huge surprise at the top of the table with Borussia Dortmund in fine form trailing leaders Mainz by 3 points with both teams gradually separating themselves from the pursuing pack.

No less than 6 strait victories for them in the Bundesliga with a superb attacking statistic of 18 scored and a defense to match, best in the elague with just 5 conceded.

With most of the matches in day 5 of the Bundesliga taking place on Wednesday, Borussia Dortmund is certainly looking forward to capitalize on their very good form with another victory against Kaiserslautern.

Borussia Dortmund in on roll, reaching a 5 game winning streak with 3 victories in the Bundesliga and 2 in the Europa League but more importantly their morale is sky high and the team is thinking seriously about the league trophy.

The weekend match was especially important for them as they managed to defeat rivals Schalke 04 ( 1-3 ) in a superb display of football and tactics  in this all important derby.

Kaiserslautern seems to have entered a difficult period in the Bundesliga, after their 2 victories in the start of the season the team grabbed only one point from the last 2.

They managed an important point with a 2-2 draw against Hoffenheim last week especially when considering their opponent’s defensive.

A series of very disputed matches in the Bundesliga this Saturday as round 3 of the new season begins and this confrontation makes no exception as Borussia Dortmund welcomes Wolfsburg.

Borussia Dortmund started the new season with a 0-2 defeat home at the hands of Bayer Leverkusen but managed to reclaim some of their pride in the second round as they defeated Stuttgart away with a very good display finished 1-3.

This is a very important match for them especially with the public behind their back hoping for a rise in form just before the Europa League group stages begin.

Wolfsburg had a awful start with 2 defeats in 2 matches played in the domestic league. They showed very weak display in the first leg away to Bayern Munchen losing in extra-time and apparently affecting their morale quite a bit.

The second round spelled disaster as they lost 3-4 on home ground against Mainz but more importantly after leading by 3 goals to nil.

Currently on the 4th spot of the Bundesliga table, Borussia Dortmund sits just 2 points from third spot holders Bayern Leverkusen and a Champions League spot for the summer. Nonetheless their current position is being threaten by next in line Werder Bremen and Hamburger SV.

The team looks very solid whilst playing in front of the home crowd with a record showing 10 victories and 2 draws in 15 matches played completed by a very good goal ratio of 27 scored and 12 conceded.

Hoffenheim had a very disappointing season so far and with a total of just 34 points they are now on a low rated 12 spot in the Bundesliga table and with little hope of improvement as they have not been able to win any of the past 6 matches in the tournament.

As expected their away statistic is also modest with 5 victories and 2 draws in all 15 played accompanied by a negative goal ratio of 15 scored and no less than20 conceded.
