Sunday in the Italian Serie A with Internazionale Milan getting another chance to advance in the table as they welcome Lazio.

Inter with a great morale after defeating their bitter rivals AC Milan last week, closing the gap from the leading teams as they continue their ascent hoping to get once again top of the table.

Superb form for inter as they managed to win their past seven games played in all competition and their last 4 played at home in which they scored 13 goals and conceded only 2.

Lazio is currently on the 4th spot of the table with a fragile 1 point advantage over Inter but with a poor form showed when compared to the opposition.

They have managed to win their last 2 games played, the first in Coppa italia against Hellas Verona and last week against Atalanta in the Serie A and although these results where good in term of morale, the value of their opponents is modest to say the least.

Derby match in the city of Milan on Sunday as historic rivals Ac Milan and Internazionale go head to head writing a new chapter in this spectacular battle.

The Italian Serie A is back in action this weekend with two matches to be played on Saturday, last of them Internazionale hosting Parma.

Inter is looking forward to continue their rise in the table as they are currently on the 5th spot of the chart with a total of 26 points, no less than 8 from leaders AC Milan and Juventus.

They managed to stop their downward spiral that lead them to the relegation zone in the beginning of the season and with four straight victories before the short winter break, Inter looks back in business even though they have a huge deficit to fill.

Parma is the underdog of this fixture as they stand on a disappointing 13th spot of the Serie A chart with a total of just 19 points in all 16 matches played, seven points above the relegation zone.

No victories in their last six matches played, with the last four ending in draws against fairly modest opponents and no victories in away games since October.

A very interesting fixture in the Italian Serie A on Saturday with Internazionale Milan currently trailing as they  welcome Napoli.

A victory for them as well in the Champions league this week, this time on home ground against Villarreal and Napoli seems to have regained their spot between the top teams after many years of misery.
