With Internazionale Milan leading in overall with 2-1, this should make a very exciting and disputed match on Stamford Bridge with Chelsea having the advantage of the home crowd and away goal.

Chelsea will most certainly push for the offensive from the start but the English team will have to worry in defense as a goal received from Inter will make life very difficult. The team’s form has seem a big improvement since their trip to Italy as they won in the FA Cup against Stoke and last week crushed West Ham in the Premier League 4-1 to stay joust 2 points behind leaders Manchester United in the table.

Their home matches have been their strong point this season, losing only once in the domestic league and no matches without points in this season of the Champions League.

Inter is on a downward spiral both in match performance and results, their loss last week against Catania 3-1 left them with joust one point advantage over rivals AC Milan in the Serie A, far from their comfortable lead in the start of the year.

Their match against Chelsea on home ground was a good one and especially Jose Muorinho has a point to make against the English side. Their mission is very hard and with a goal received on home ground, qualification in the next round is especially difficult.

With rivals AC Milan becoming a real threat in the fight for the top spot, Internazionale Milan seem to have found their motivation and started winning matches in the last week with the hope of continuing this good streak against Genoa this Sunday.

Inter gained a great deal in terms of morale as they defeated Chelsea in the Champions League and managed to successfully complete their difficult trip to Udinese and claim the vital 3 points in a 3-2 victory.

They still maintain a 4 point advantage at the top of the Serie A table over second Milan and no less than 7 over AS Roma. The champions look very strong when looking at the home pitch statistic in the competition with 10 victories and 3 draws in all 13 played and a very good goal ratio for the Italian championship of 27 scored and 11 conceded.

Genoa is mid table for now in th standings with some hope of claiming a Europa League spot at the end of the season but with though opposition in achieving this from Napoli, Sampdoria and Cagliari.

They seem to be alternating good performances coped with 3 point results with poor displays especially when traveling. In away matches their statistic is awful managing to win only 2 and end 2 in draws in all 12 played and a negative goal ratio of 12 scored and no less than 23 conceded.

With both Inter and Chelsea leading in their domestic leagues, this looks like the match of the evening in the Champions League with the traditional Italian-English rivalry placing it’s mark.

Internazionale Milan has lost ground lately, with important points waisted against lower ranked teams and now only 5 points separate them from followers AS Roma in the Serie A.

Their last match saw 2 of their players sent off in a very tense matches, but the team managed to resist and claim a point i their goalless draw against Sampdoria. They are a team that is dominating adversaries on home ground from start to finish but Chelsea is a though nut to crack. It all depends on how well the players can be motivated in this crucial phase of the competition.

Chelsea is in a similar position in the English Premier League, with a 4 point advantage over Manchester United and feeling the pressure from their rivals. In the last 5 played they ended one in a draw against Hull City and lost against Everton, both matches away.

Only one victory for them in the last 3 matches played whilst traveling and important injuries like Deco, A. Cole, M. Essien and J. Bosingwa, all valuable players especially with such a busy schedule.

Leading the Serie A with a comfortable advantage over it’s followers, Internazionale Milan will encounter though competition on Saturday as they welcome Sampdoria.

With 24 matches played so far, Inter shows an overall of 54 points, no less than 7 over second AS Roma and 9 over rivals AC Milan. The team has won only 2 of the past 5 matches played ending the last with Parma and Napoli in draws, both away but showing a real lack in motivation and determination.

If the team does not come together and start treating every match seriously, the last part of the competition may bring big surprises especially as AS Roma is in an incredible form. Only one match this Wednesday in the Italian SerieA with leaders Internazionale Milan traveling to struggling Parma in what at first glace seems like a easy task for the champions.

Parma is in a disastrous situation with no victories in the last 6 matches played from which they gathered only one point in a goalless draw against another deception of the season, Udinese.

After their defeat at the hands of Palermo last week, Parma is left with a total of 29 points in all 22 matches played and the 13th spot in the charts, 7 points above the danger zone but with very slim chances of garbing any points in this match. Their statistic on home ground is still decent with 6 victories and 2 draws in all 10 played but this tends to fade away in the light of their recent results.

Inter is cruising through the competition, first spot for them and a total of 52 points, 8 points advantage over next in line AS Roma and a game less. It looks like the trophy is already theirs if all goes as planed to the end of the tournament.

Their statistic in home matches is crushing for any opponent, no less than 10 victories and 2 draws but the team is encountering some difficulties lately when playing away with only one victory in the last 4 played and a statistic identical to Parma’s at home.

Leading the Italian Serie A by a comfortable margin, Internazionale Milan will encounter Cagliari this Sunday in their attempt for another champions title.

Inter has a very solid 8 point advantage from second AC Milan in the overall standings with 21 matches played by each and AS Roma with game more. They are in a very good form with 4 victories in the last 5 matches played and a 2-2 draw away to Bari in what was a very challenging game.

Cagliari have a very though mission on their hands and obtaining one point from this clash would be a positive result for them. The Derby Della Madonnina as it is
known, the clash of Internazionale Milan and AC Milan these long time
local rivals and certainly this match will grab all attention from
Football fans on Sunday.

With both teams showing a good form and
battling out for the Scudetto this match will most probably be very
different from their encounter in the start of the season when Inter
managed a superb victory away to AC Milan trashing their adversaries
4-0.

With a total of 46 points in 20 games
played in the Serie A, Inter sits 6 points above AC Milan at the top of
the table but the opposition has one match in hand and with it to close
the gap to only 3 points.

Coach Jose Murino has some reason to be
cheer about as Midfielder Wesley
Sneijder has recovered from a flu and will most likely start in the
first 11. Inter has not lost any of the 10 matches played at home this

AC Milan is determined to wash off the
painful defeat suffered in the start of the season and with it’s current
form there are reasons to believe they can manage that. With some
problem in defense, coach Leonardo will start with Tiago Silva and
Giuseppe Favalli as center backs.

After the incredible match last week against Siena, Inter is in front
of a very difficult trip in the Serie A to Bari and certainly looking
forward to avenge the 1-1 draw in the first match of the season.

After leading Fiorentina away last week, Bari conceded 2 goals and
lost the second match in the competition this year. The team looked
strong but failed to live up to the challenge especially in the second
half.

They still look very strong on home ground with victories in all last
5 matches played there and a statistic of 6 victories and 2 draws in 9
played. With 27 points in total, they sit joust 3 behind a spot in next
season’s Europa League, it remains to be seen if the team can keep the
good form for the remaining of the competition.

With their victory midweek over Chievo, Inter Milan have consolidated
their top spot in the Italian Serie A and are clear favorites for a win
in this match against Siena.

Inter has a 8 point lead in the table over bitter rivals AC Milan but
a game more than their adversaries and already with a victory this week
when they won by the slightest of margins away to Chievo.

One bad news for the champion was the serious injury suffered by left
back Cristian Chivu witch will make the player unavailable for some
time now. A very good record in home matches for them this season with
no less than 7 victories and non lost in 9 played and a superb goal
ratio with 18 scored and 8 conceded.

Siena is almost certain of relegation with only 12 points so far they
are on the last spot of the table with slim chances on improving on
their situation.

Only one victory for them in away matches in the start of the new
season followed by no less than 7 consecutive defeats. This week they
lost to Fiorentina with a 1-5 scoreline.
