Fiorentina last 5 league matches: lost lost win lost draw

Fiorentina last 3 home matches: lost winlost

Juventus last 5 league matches: draw draw win win lost

Juventus last 3 away matches: lost draw win

Table positions: Fiorentina -10, Juventus -5

Fiorentina home table position: 12

Juventus away table position: 3

Only 2 matches taking place in the Italian Serie A this Saturday and this clash between Fiorentina and Juventus is certainly a game of interest as both teams need all 3 points.

Fiorentina is in a downward spiral in terms of results, out of the Champions League they are struggling in the domestic league and now felt on the 10th spot with a total of 35 points and only one victory in the last 8 matches played.

Their recent performances has certainly taken it’s token on the team’s statistic and on home ground they are left with 7 victories one draw and no less than 5 lost showing a very weak goal ratio of 17 scored and 12 conceded in all 13 played.

Juventus is still in the books for a place in next season’s Champions League with their direct adversaries Palermo only 2 points above them after the direct match between the 2 last week.

Their results improved slightly recently and the team won 2 out of the past 3 matches in the Serie A. Juventus looks strong in away matches as they have won 6 and ended 2 in draws in 12 played so far with a modest goal ratio of 19 scored and 16 conceded.

My pick:  Juventus to win

Juventus – AS Roma 23 Jan 10

JuventusBetting tips soccerAS Roma

Juventus last 5 league matches:  lost lost win lost lost

Juventus last 3 home matches:  win lostlost

Roma last 5 league matches:  draw win draw win win

Roma last 3 away matches: win draw draw

Table positions: Juventus -5, Roma -3

Juventus home table position: 13

Roma away table position: 8

Juventus facing a disastrous period in the Italian Serie A with only
one victory and 4 losses in the last 5 played and virtually no chances
left for the championship race. They now have to play against AS Roma
with their future participation in a European tournament on the table.

With their humiliating blow against AC Milan on home ground 0-3
followed by their loss away to Chievo left the “old lady” on the fifth
spot of the table with a total of 33 points, no less than 13 gap from
leaders Inter.

On home pitch they have won 5 out of the 10 matches played with 2
draws and 3 defeats, making one of the poorest records compared to the
other teams and left them with only 17 points from a total of 30
possible and a poor goal ratio of 16 scored and 12 conceded showing less
than one goal scored per game.

AS Roma is in a very good form with 3 victories and 2 draws in the
last 5 played in the Serie A and climbing up considerably to the third
spot of the table 5 points from second AC Milan and only one advantage
from forth Napoli.

It’s hard to consider they will be keeping their spot in case of any
other result but a victory. Their record in away matches is very week
and dominated by draws, no less than 5 in all 10 played and only 2
victories all season long.

My pick: Draw (under 2.5 goals)

Juventus – AC Milan 10 jan 10

Category: Italy Serie A    by: admin

JuventusBetting tips soccerAC Milan

Juventus last 5 league matches:  lost win lost lost win

Juventus last 3 home matches:  win winlost

Milan last 5 league matches:  win win win lost win

Milan last 3 away matches: draw win win

Table positions: Juventus -3, Milan -2

Juventus home table position: 9

Milan away table position: 3

The derby match that will certainly grab most of the attention this
Sunday in European football as third Juventus will welcome second AC
Milan in the Italian Serie A.

Both teams started the new year with victories, Juventus defeating
Parma away by 2 goals to one and AC Milan overpowering Genoa 5-2 on the
San Siro.

With a total of 33 points, Juventus sits joust one point below Milan
in the table but with 18 played they have one more than their
opposition. This is regarded as a very important match in the overall
outcome of the season and in case of a defeat, Juve is likely to miss
out on the Scudetto race.

Their injury list is worrying for the manager as Iaquinta, Camoranesi,
Buffon and Trezeguet are injured,
Caceres is suspended and
Sissoko takes part in the African Cup of Nations, with several other
players having fitness concerns.

AC Milan looks to be in better form than
their opposition, before the leg started second in the table with a gap
of 6 points but a game in hand (now after Inter’s victory on Saturday no
less than 9 points).

There are some concerns for them as well
regarding the team with
Pato, Oddo, Zambrotta,
Onyewu, Seedorf and Adiyah all out for this one but probably taking on a
offensive positioning with 3 midfielders and 3 attackers.

My pick: Juventus to win
