Round 21 in the Italian Serie A and leaders Juventus are up against what at first glace seems to be an easy opponent, relegation threatened Siena.

Juventus is still leading the Serie A table with a total of 44 points, just one above Milan and three over third spot holders Udinese. A fragile lead for them no question about this but Juventus have one game less played than their main opposition and a victory against Siena could give them some breathing space.

Very exciting match at the top of the Serie A with leaders Juventus welcoming third spot holders Udinese on Saturday for a game that could change the board in the upper half.

Juventus is currently in the driver’s seat of the Serie A chart with a total of 41 points leading to a very fragile one point advantage over second AC Milan and three points from their current adversaries Udinese.

Thus is a very important match for them as a loss or even a draw could cost them the top spot but form and results are on their side especially after a well deserved 3-0 victory over Roma last week in Coppa Italia.

Udinese suffering some setbacks in their attempt to take Serie A by surprise, the 3-2 loss against Genoa two weeks ago costing them and with a narrow 2-1 victory over Catania last week it’s clear that the team is not in top form.

Although being very close to the top of the table, Udinese is feeling intense pressure from next in line Internazionale, that sits just 3 points bellow.

Last match of the round in the Italian Serie A and the only one to be played on Monday as current leaders Juventus travel to a struggling AS Roma team.

As Roma on the 10th spot of the table with a very poor run so far especially when compared to their aspirations. They have a total of just 17 points in all 13 games played and a negative goal balance of -2.

They lost their last two matches in the Serie A, both of them played away, against Udinese and Fiorentina without coring a single goal but conceding a total of 5.

Juventus on the other hand is leading the chart at the start of this round with a total of 29 points and a superb goal balance of +14, making for their best season in years.

Only Milan can take their place in case they lose this one, but even though Roma is a reputable adversary, Juventus has no less than 6 victories in their last 7 games played.

A steep rise in form for them as they managed to win their last two matches in the Serie A against Bologna and Genoa with the addition of the Copa Italia victory managed this week.

The third round in the Serie A kick off on Thursday with Juventus welcoming Bologna among the 8 games of the day.

Juventus with a perfect start to the new season as they sit on the second spot of the table with 6 points in their two matches played against Parma and Siena.

It’s fair to say that their opponents have not been from the top of the charts but such adversaries may bring much needed morale for Juventus as they strive to lift above the poor form showed in the past few years.
