Mallorca last 3 away match: lostlostlost

Table positions: Real Madrid -2, Mallorca -9

Real Madrid home table position: -2

Mallorca away table position: -14

Some interesting match on Sunday in the Primera Division and among them Real Madrid who is set to welcome Mallorca as they try are repair last round’s dammage.

Real Madrid now 4 points behind Barcelona in the league table as they where held to a surprising one all draw last week away to Almeria but with a good morale as they managed to qualify further in the Copa Del Rey.

Perfect record in home games so far for the Spanish giants with 9 victories in all 9 played and the best goal ratio with no less than 30 scored and only 5 conceded

Mallorca is far from last season’s performances, holding only a modest 9th spot of the table with a total of 27 points and showing an alternating form.

They have failed to claim any points from their last 3 trips in the competition and with a record of just 2 victories and 1 draws in all 9 played away so far they should not pose a major problem for Real Madrid.

My pick:  Real Madrid to win ( over 2.5 goals )

Table positions: Sevilla -5, Mallorca -10

Sevilla home table position: -9

Mallorca away table position: -13

A very interesting match in the Spanish Primera Division on Sunday as Sevilla is rising through the ranks and welcomes Mallorca in an important game for both.

Sevilla started to steady rise in the Primera Division table after a poor start and now shows a great form with 3 victories in the last 4 matches of the competition and 4 straight victories in all tournaments involved.

A great run for them lately on home games as they managed to win the last 3 played here with a very good goal ratio of no less than 10 scored and 5 conceded.

Mallorca is still struggling and far from the form showed in the last season, no victories for them in the last 2 played as they where defeated by Zaragoza and  managed only a goalless draw at home against Deportivo La Coruna.

Only one victory and one draw for Mallorca in all 5 matches played away in the competition with a awful goal ratio of 5 scored and no less than 10 conceded.

My pick:  Sevilla to win ( over 2.5 goals )

Levante last 3 away match: windrawlost

Table positions: Mallorca -9 , Levante -14

Mallorca home table position: -9

Levante away table position: -12

Closing match of the 9th round of the Spanish Primera Division and the only one to be played on Monday as Mallorca welcome Levante.

After a very good last season, Mallorca is finding hard to find it’s pace now and sits on a modest 9th spot of the table with a total of only 11 points.

Transforming their home pitch in a stronghold last season, they have now won only 2 of the 4 matches played here with one encouraging factor as they conceded just one goal.

Levante is one of the clear relegation candidates of the competition, just above the danger zone now with a total of 8 points they won only one match in the last 4 played.

With one of the poorest offensive in the competition it’s no wonder they have scored only 8 goals so far with mirror records both at home and away.

My pick:  Mallorca to win ( over 2.5 goals )

Mallorca – Espanyol 17.10

Espanyol last 3 away match: lostlostlost

Table positions: Mallorca -9 , Espanyol -8

Mallorca home table position: -4

Espanyol away table position: -20

Six matches in the Spanish Primera Division on Sunday with Mallorca versus Espanyol one of the most balanced kicking off.

Mallorca following the trail sen in the last season with very good performances on home pitch and a great deal of points lost away to modest rivals.

They head into this game with a strong morale after being able to hold Barcelona to a one all draw last week on Camp Nou and with victories in the last 2 played on their pitch they are set as favorites here.

Espanyol acting similar to their opponents in this match, the 8th spot of the table for them with a total of 9 points, all of which obtained on home ground.

They lost all 3 matches played away so far in the new season of the Primera Division unable to score any goals and conceding no less than 8.

My pick:  Mallorca to win ( under 2.5 goals )

Espanyol last 3 away matches: lostwinlost

Table positions: Mallorca- 5, Espanyol - 11

Mallorca home table position: 3

Espanyol away table position: 18

Fifth spot holders Mallorca are pushing for a victory against Espanyol in the hope that Sevilla will stumble against Almeria and their road to the Champions League preliminaries will be paved.

Mallorca seem to experience the fatigue after a long season with a clear plunge in results lately as they lost the last 2 matches in the Spanish Primera Division. They have assured themselves a spot in next season’s European tournament and with a victory here and a stroke of luck that competition could be the UCL.

They are one of the strongest teams in the tournament by home play, only below giants Barcelona and Real Madrid but managing only 1 point from the last 2 against Malaga and Real Madrid bringing their statistic to 14 victories and 1 draws in 18 played.

Espanyol sits comfortably mid table with a total of 44 points, no aspirations for them in advancing and no threats to relegate. A modest season all together but one in which their hopes and aspirations where fulfilled.

Away play is not their strongest point by any means with just 2 victories and 5 draws in 18 matches played whilst traveling and a goal ratio that shows only 9 goals scored and no less than 27 conceded.

My pick:  Mallorca to win
