Second day in the Spanish Copa del Rey and FC Barcelona takes that stage as they welcome an uncomfortable Osasuna team.

Barcelona displaying a superb form in recent matches with no less than seven straight victories, an impressive appetite for goal scoring a strong defense.

They trashed the virtually unknown L’Hospitalet in the previous round with an outstanding 10-0 aggregate looking keen on grabbing the trophy they lost last year against Real Madrid in the final.

Osasuna is known as a very challenging team to Spain’s top teams, with the power to motivate themselves and a determination that is to be appreciated.

Their form is great at the moment as the team managed four victories in their last 6 games played only to position themselves on a honorable 5th spot in the Primera Division. Most likely they will play a very defensive game here hoping to strike back on home ground but although their run is good in terms of results, their defense has flaws, Osasuna conceding goals in all past 6 matches played.

The third round in the Primera Division and a victory starved Barcelona take to the field as they welcome Osasuna to the Nou Camp on Saturday.

Barcelona with yet another two all draw this week as they managed only one point in their first match of the Group stage in the Champions League against Italian champions AC Milan. A quick goal by Pato took the Catalans by surprise but Barca’s passing machine sprung into action equalizing trough Pedro and the getting ahead thank to Villa’s goal. They had the victory in the bag but Tiago Silva manage a goal in extra time and Barcelona has now two consecutive draws with the same scoreline.

No doubt they will be pushing for victory from the first minute and although Osasuna is known for it’s motivation, Barcelona will most likely score more than 2 goals to finish comfortably.

Osasuna with little hope of a positive result as they travel to an injured Barcelona team but with some good matches this fresh season as they totaled 4 points in the first two games.

They will most likely play a very defensive game with counter=attack on their mind but if they concede a goal they will have to open up.

Barcelona with a dent in their morale after losing the Copa Del Rey final against Real Madrid this week, return to the pitch as they welcome Osasuna in the Primera Division.

The Catalans sit top of the chart in the league with a total of 85 points, no less than 7 over their bitter rivals Real Madrid, making them virtual champions with 6 more rounds to go.

Barcelona will certainly be looking for a clear victory to wash away the defeat in the cup and Osasuna, with it’s poor display seems tobe the perfect victim.

Osasuna is struggling to get out of the danger zone, they have totaled 35 points, only 2 above the first team to relegate and with 3 straight losses their mission looks quite hard.

They are known as a strong team on home pitch especially as they managed to motivate themselves against strong opponents but as far as away statistic is concerned this season, they have the poorest of them all in La Liga.
