Round 12 of the Primera Division with Sevilla hosting Athletic Bilbao on Sunday for one of the most interesting fixtures of the day.

Sevilla is falling rapidly in the standings as they failed to win any of the last four games in the competitions, managing 3 draws and a defeat only to end up on the 5th spot of the table with a total of 18 points.

Similar situation for them in home matches, a two all draw against Santander and a painful 1-2 defeat against Granada in their last two played.

Athletic Bilbao on the other hand has a great morale after managing to grab one point from champions Barcelona in a two all spectacular draw last week.

They are currently on the 9th spot of the table with a total of just 14 points in all 11 played, due in part by their poor performances in away games.

Closing match of round 10 in the Spanish Primera Division and the only fixture to be played on Monday as Sevilla will welcome Granada.

Sevilla currently on the 5th spot of the table with a total of 17 points, flowed closely by Espanyol but with no room to advance as Valencia is 4 points above them after most of the weekend games where played.

They failed to win any of their last two games, achieving a positive result as they held Barcelona to a goalless draw but the lost 2 points against Racing Santander.

Granada on the last spot of the table, the newly promoted team is almost sure of returning in the second division as they managed to gather only 5 points in all 9 games played.

Only one victory for them so far against Villarreal early in the start of the campaign but overshadow by recent results with 3 defeats in the past 4 games.

Very interesting fixture in the Primera Division on Saturday as the mighty Barcelona welcome Sevilla in the closing game of the day.

Barcelona seems to be back to the form that it’s displayed in the past few years with five consecutive victories both in the Primera and the Champions League.

No less than 16 goals scored in the past 5 played and not a single goal conceded makes them clear favorites here especially with such great competition at the top of the table.

Sevilla is currently 4th in the standings with a total of 15 points, just two bellow their adversaries and just one from third in line Real Madrid.

They are a very strong team on home pitch but whilst playing away they show real gaps as they failed to win any of their trips this season in the competition.

A good opportunity for Sevilla on Sunday to make an important jump in the Primera Division chart if they defeat relegation threatened Real Zaragoza.

Sevilla with a disappointing season so far, only the 7th spot for them with a total of 42 points, no less than 12 handicap from the last spot that leads into the Champions League next season.

They are a strong team on home ground recently as they managed 2 victories and a draw against the mighty Barcelona in the last 3 played in the competition.

Real Zaragoza is just above the relegation zone, with only one point separating them from Malaga and a series of though matches to follow this one.

They managed only one victory this season of the Primera Division in away matches and no less than six draws in all 14 played with a negative goal balance of 7 scored whilst conceding 17.
